Typically our work together begins with an initial consultation, at which we discuss your project, your dreams and desires for your landscape, and your budget. You should review our portfolio, pointing out your preferences. If we mutually decide that we would like to work together, we will write you a proposal. Once accepted, we will develop an overall master plan, showing the layout of all features incorporated.
Once we have a master plan in place, and depending on the scale and complexity of the project, we will likely need to obtain design review approvals from your local agency. We will prepare the drawings and documents neccessary. Throughout all phases of the project, we encourage an interactive process, involving you in all design decisions. We also coordinate with all the other participants, such as local officials, engineers and other professionals, contractors and suppliers, to ensure everything runs smoothly throughout the course of the project.
Once approvals are in place we can prepare construction documents for bidding and building permits. During this process, or during construction, we may take you to visit the suppliers that can provide the integral elements and finishing touches for your landscape. During construction, we will make periodic site vists to review the progress of the work, and ensure that your dreams are realized in the best way possible.
